518 Christian Youth Athletic League
We are a Christ-Centered athletic league dedicated to encouraging healthy habits and athletic abilities for youth ages 9-17. We welcome both new and experienced participants, with diverse abilities. Guided foremost by biblical truths and prayer, experienced coaches and volunteers focus on skills training, positive relationships, education, and self-discipline. We challenge youth to learn and grow in their personal relationships with God. We work hard to create a healthy, safe, positive environment for players and families to be themselves, build friendships, and have an absolutely awesome time!
We put God at the center of all we do and spend time in prayer and in the Word every time we meet.

2026 Spring General Athletics
Our Spring General Athletics program is open for youth ages 9-17. General athletics is a great intro into a variety of sports and physical fitness and an amazing way to make friends and grow in faith. General athletics does not involve a team commitment which makes it a great solution for families unable to commit to attending every event. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off their children. (We’re big believers in including as much of the family as possible. We do allow “junior” participants who fall a little below the age cutoff but are ready for playing so long as their parents stay on location).
2026 Spring Featured Athletics are Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Strenth/Endurance Obstacles. We’ll probably throw in a few surprises too!
Where: variety of parks throughout the Capital District (Albany, Delmar, Averill Park, Troy, etc…) Park locations and schedules are distributed to our registered members.
When: Tuesdays 4:00-6:00 (4/28,5/5,5/12,5/19,5/26,6/2)
2026 Spring Soccer Scrimmage Sessions
Join us to focus on strength, conditioning, and skills development. Each week will be packed with scrimmages!!
Players will need to bring plenty of water and wear socks, shin guards, and cleats to participate. Fees cover all other equipment and supplies.
Where: variety of parks throughout the Capital District (Albany, Delmar, Averill Park, Troy, etc…) Park locations and schedules are distributed to our registered members.
When: Thursdays 4:00-6:00 (4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4)
Cost: $75 per participant with a per family maximum of $195

2026 Competitive Fall Soccer and Discipleship Program

Join us for our very special discipleship program where we challenge youth to understand the full message of the gospel, grow in their relationships with God, and seek His purpose for their lives. Oh…and we also play soccer! We play modified, junior varsity, and varsity level games and competitive tournaments. We also enjoy spending time building relationships with other teams, finding ministry opportunities, and finding other fun activities to give youth plenty of opportunity to build healthy relationships with their peers.

2026 Spring Kayaking Club
When: Fridays 10:30-1:30 {May through June}
Kayaking club is an unforgettable experience for adventurers ages 9-17 who want to enjoy God’s wonderful creation out on the water. Participants will build on their skills and comfort in the water, week after week, collecting various merit achievements, healthy friendships, and a deeper relationship with God.
Spring Kayaking membership spots go fast. Spots are offered first to children of coaches and volunteers and alumni members from the previous season, then to 518 athletic participants, and finally to those on our waitlist.
